Before the days of the game changing iPhone, the best touchscreen action in town was Palm. Although there was no app store, Palm really popularized the third party smartphone application industry. During
this time, there was one Palm game that stood out amongst them all: Warfare incorporated.
Warfare Incorporated is the closest thing to StarCraft that you’ll ever play on a handheld. It’s a real-time strategy game that I spent hours playing on my Tungsten T3 back in the day and now it has come to
the iPhone! Place your headquarters, build your base, mine for credits, train your army and destroy corporate enemy. In this game, capitalism meets a new level of corporate warfare, where corporate armies start exploiting the galaxies for profit. You’ll spend countless hours playing this great game and the developer even promises a multiplayer mode in future updates. Also, once you exit the app, your progress stays saved, which really should be standard for all iPhone games, in my opinion. The game costs $4.99 at the App Store, and it’s well worth it for the hours of gameplay. Get it here.
