I decided to give qik for the iPhone a try today on my jailbroken iPhone 3G. From the looks of it, qik may be coming to the official App Store fairly soon, so I wanted to get a sneak peep at it. It’s actually a pretty cool app, and I think I might get a lot of use out of it. I tested it over 3G and it seems to do a fairly decent job. There is a delay of a few second between what you’re saying and the live web stream, but the audio and video both come out surprisingly clear. You can see my first qik video below.
